Gigabyte Releases G1 Gaming Series Motherboard With H81 Chipset
Gigabyte usually reserves its G1 Gaming series for motherboards designed specifically for gaming, that is, boards with support for various graphics cards, high-quality sound and large overclocking capabilities. However, the manufacturer has presented a motherboard with the simple H81 chipset belonging to the G1 Gaming series.
The Gigabyte M81M-Gaming 3 arrives in a Micro-ATX format instead of the usual ATX for this type of motherboard, it integrates an Intel LGA 1150 socket surrounded by a simple 3-phase VRM that is responsible for feeding the processor, the socket is surrounded by two DDR3 DIMM slots that support a maximum of 16GB of RAM at 1600 MHz.
Regarding the expansion slots, it only has one PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slot and 2 PCI-Express 2.0 x1 slots. It also has a total of 4 SATA ports, two of which are SATA III 6GB / s and the other two are SATA II 3GB / s. A notable feature is the inclusion of Realtek ALC892 Gibagit Ethernet and audio connectivity with electrolytic capacitors and PCB insulation to prevent electrical noise interference.
On the rear panel it has 2 PS / 2 ports for keyboard and mouse, 4 USB ports (2 in version 3.0), RJ45 connector for LAN connection, VGA and HDMI video outputs and HD Audio connectors for Mini-jack.
Of course it has the Ultra Durable technology and UEFI BIOS present in Gigabyte G1 Gaming series motherboards.
