GIGABYTE has added the 10GbE GC-AQC107 network card that it showed earlier this year at CES to the product list on its website. The product is also listed on Amazon in the United States and the United Kingdom, although they currently do not ship. When the network card is released, GIGABYTE will be the third company to offer a 10GbE NIC based on an Aquantia chip.

GIGABYTE GC-AQC107 is a new 10GbE network card

The GIGABYTE GC-AQC107, powered by the Aquantia AQC107 controller, supports network standards of 100M, 1G, 2.5G, 5G, and 10G over CAT5e or CAT6 / 6a cables and RJ45 connectors (depending on distance).

To ensure that the AQC107 chip does not overheat at the breakneck speeds it offers, GIGABYTE equipped the GC-AQC107 with an aluminum heatsink. In addition, to make it easier for consumers to configure their networks, the RJ45 connector has LEDs that control data transmission.

GC-AQC107 can be installed on any modern PC that has an additional PCIe x4 slot and is running Windows 7 or higher, as well as various Linux operating systems.

Everything indicates that the network card will soon be available for purchase, but we still do not know the price it will have. Considering that ASUS sells this same network card for $ 99, GIGABYTE is expected to do so for between $ 99 and $ 120.
