We already have the first official images of the new Gigabyte Aorus Z370 motherboards with which the brand will try to win over users in order to make the leap to the new Intel Coffee Lake processors.

Gigabyte Aorus Z370 in details

Firstly we have the Aorus Z370 Gaming 3 and Aorus Z370 Gaming K3 which are almost identical, in fact the only difference is that the first one includes a Gigabit Killer E2500 network interface while the second one is made up of an Intel network controller i219-V. Both include a single PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot connected to the CPU and a PCI Express 3.0 powered x4 slot connected to the PCH. As for the sound subsystem, we find the Realtek ALC1220 codec (120 dBA SNR) with headphone amplifier and electromagnetic shield.

We now turn to the Aorus Z370 Ultra Gaming, a more advanced model than the previous two with two PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots connected to the CPU to allow the mounting of a CrossFireX or SLI 2-way system and achieve the best performance in video games. On top of this we have the Aorus Z370 Gaming 5 with a more robust VRM, three M.2 slots, a higher quality sound system than previous models, more USB 3.1 ports and WiFi 802.11 ac + Bluetooth technologies.

The top of the range corresponds to the Aorus Z370 Gaming 7 that includes the best sound technology from an ESS Saber amplifier, heatsinks for M.2 drives, two Gigabit interfaces (Intel + Killer) and reinforcement brackets on its PCB.
