Asrock shows images of its z370 motherboards

The first images of the new ASRock motherboards equipped with the LGA 1151 socket and the Z370 chipset have been filtered to give compatibility to the eighth generation Intel Core processors, the Coffee Lake that will not be able to be installed on the previous Z270 motherboards or Z170 despite using the same socket.

The leaked motherboards are the ASRock Z370 Killer SLI / ac, Z370 Extreme4, Z370 Pro4, Z370 Taichi, Z370M Pro4, and Z370M-ITX / ac. ASRock Z370 Taichi seems to be the top of the range model and is based on a different PCB. The Z370 Killer SLI / ac and Z370 Pro4 models correspond to the input range while the Z370M Pro4 and Z370M-ITX / ac represent the solutions based on the Micro ATX and Mini ITX form factor respectively.

The arrival of the Intel Coffee Lake processors is expected for the last quarter of the year, so they will arrive less than a year after the Kaby Lakes that appeared in January. The most important novelty will be the move to 4 cores in the Core i3 and 6 cores in the Core i5 and Core i7.
