AMD EPYC processors are getting closer and motherboard manufacturers are already at the top, Gigabyte MZ30-AR0 is a new motherboard and the first to show for this new dedicated processors for servers and formerly known as Naples.

Gigabyte MZ30-AR0 Welcomes AMD EPYC

Gigabyte MZ30-AR0 is a motherboard that is built with an E-ATX form factor and mounts a single SP3r2 socket for the installation of an AMD EPYC processor with up to 32 cores and 64 processing threads. EPYC integrates all the logic it needs to function so the motherboard lacks a chipset. It is powered by one 24-pin ATX connector and two 8-pin EPS connectors. We continue with no less than 16 DDR4 DIMM slots with support for a maximum of 512 GB of memory in an eight-channel configuration.

Gigabyte MZ30-AR0 features continue with five PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots, one with x8 operation, two x8 storage slots, four slimSAS 12 Gb / s slots, 16 SATA 6 Gb / s ports, and one M slots..2 32 GB / s.
