GIGABYTE announced its new B360 M Aorus Pro motherboard, a micro-ATX 'gaming' type motherboard from its new AORUS brand. The board features a near-premium feature set that saves CPU VRM to additional features, such as a Premium and Wireless audio chip.

B360 M Aorus Pro - A micro-ATX motherboard with 'Premium' audio chip and integrated Wireless

Built with a 240mm x 240mm printed circuit board in micro-ATX format, the board draws power from a 24-pin ATX combination and an 8-pin EPS connection, and supplies power to the CPU with a 4 VRM +2 phases that are cooled by heat sinks. The CPU socket is connected to four DDR4 DIMM slots and a reinforced PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot.

Despite its size, the B360 M Aorus Pro includes three M.2 slots: one M.2-22110 with PCI-Express 3.0 x4 cabling and heatsink, one M.2-2280 slot with PCI-Express 3.0 x2 cabling, and SATA 6 Gbps, and a third 30mm E slot. A Wireless WLAN CNVi 802.11ac Wave2 2T2R chip is being included on this motherboard. Connectivity includes two USB 3.1 gen 2 ports (including a Type C port), and four USB 3.1 gen 1 ports. The network connection uses a 1 GbE interface with Intel i219-V controller. The audio solution is the CODEC Realtek ALC892.

GIGABYTE did not reveal the price of the B360 M Aorus Pro, but we hope it will cost around 90 euros, a price that seduces the segment for which it is designed.
