Following on from its Z390 AORUS Master motherboard, Gigabyte has prepared a new flagship motherboard that sits on top of the pyramid. This is the Z390 AORUS Xtreme and it has many high end features for those who only want the best.

Z390 AORUS Xtreme is a few steps above the Z390 AORUS Xtreme Master

For starters, the motherboard uses an extended ATX (E-ATX) form factor, just to accommodate all the added features. It has two Intel Thunderbolt 3 ports, one Intel Gigabit LAN port and Intel Gigabit WLANport. Plus, it even has a 10GbE Aquantia LAN capability. Lastly, being an AORUS motherboard, RGB LED lighting options are also being used.

What other features does the Z390 AORUS Xtreme have?

The Z390 AORUS Xtreme has so many features that it practically embarrasses the Z390 AORUS Master. That was already a pretty impressive motherboard.

The VRM uses a 16-phase IR digital VRM with PowIRstage design and is exhaustively cooled by large heat sinks. These heatsinks not only look good, they are also functional. It uses direct contact copper heatpipes, Nano Carbon base plates and aluminum fins that allow air to pass through.

There is an IO cover and integrated back plate already in place. This of course simplifies the installation and there is absolutely no chance that the user will forget to install the IO display during the installation of the case.

How much does the Gigabyte Z390 AORUS Xtreme motherboard cost?

The Z390 AORUS Xtreme has a retail price of $ 549.99, which is almost double that of the Z390 AORUS Master motherboard.
