Z390 motherboards are coming to go with the ninth generation of Intel processors. In the many proposals that have already been announced for this platform, we have to talk about the GALAXY Z390 Gamer, with a quite 'particular' design.

Galaxy Z390 Gamer is announced with gray covers and orange motifs

Products designed for gamers have come to have a different set of features over the years. Not necessarily in terms of functionality, but in terms of aesthetics. This includes having RGB LEDs, and often angled designs.

Galaxy's latest Z390 Gamer motherboard, however, takes those aesthetic keys a little further. Seen through PCOnline , the motherboard is dressed in gray with orange accents. The Z390 Gamer motherboard also has RGB LEDs in the audio subsystem, DIMM slots, and the IO deck. The entire PCB is dark black and the PCI-e slots are white.

The combination of colors and the angles of the covers with orange motifs really make the whole very unsightly. It is simply the ugliest Z390 motherboard to date.

Not that it lacks features. In fact, remove the ugly covers and you will see that it is a very capable motherboard. There are built-in buttons, a port 80 debug LED, and additional 4-pin CPU power for overclocking. It is also good to see that the VRM has a heatsink.

There are also three M.2 slots, and all three have a thermal protector included. The tallest has a thermal display built into the cover of the audio subsystem. All PCIe x16 slots also have boosters and even comes with 2 × 2 802.11ac WiFi with its own antenna disk. So the only bad thing here is its design and not its functions.

At the moment its price is not known.
