AORUS X9 - GIGABYTE Portable Gamer to Showcase at CES 2018
The AORUS X9 surprised everyone with its slimness, quite an achievement, considering that inside its chassis it houses two Geforce GTX 1070, as well as its Kailh keys with 2.5 mm travel, a high-quality keyboard that can last for years. GIGABYTE is claiming that this is the world's thinnest laptop with Dual GPU and mechanical keys.
The AORUS X9 laptop has a 17.3-inch screen available in two resolutions, either a QHD (2560 × 1440 pixels) at 120 Hz, or a 4K UHD panel (3840 × 2160) with Adobe RGB. Naturally this will vary its price.
The chassis is made entirely of aluminum and comes with different ADOBE RGB lighting, which in addition to making it more attractive, also gives us different visual information, such as volume, battery indicator, CPU / GPU temperature and more.
The processor it uses is the i7-7820HK quad-core that comes in at a base frequency of 2.9 GHz and can top out at 3.9 GHz. This processor can also be overclockable. The memory capacity is 64GB maximum through its four SO-DIMM slots and is capable of supporting speeds of up to DDR4-2400, although the exact capacity will vary depending on the retailer. There are three possible locations for internal storage with two 1TB NVMe M.2 SSDs and a 2TB 7200 RPM hard drive.
It is priced at $ 3, 649 for the computer that comes with the 32GB DDR4-2400, 1 x 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, and 1TB HDD configuration .
