Gigabyte is thinking of users on a tight budget who need the most powerful from Intel and has announced the Gigabyte X299-UD4, which will be the cheapest motherboard for the new Skylake X and Kaby Lake X processors.

Gigabyte X299-UD4 opts for a minimalist design that includes all the features of Intel's most advanced platform, is built with an ATX form factor, and draws power via a 24-pin ATX connector and an EPS 8 connector pins, thereby ensuring enough power for great electrical stability and overclocking. The socket is surrounded by eight DDR4 DIMM slots and has five PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, two of them with x4 electrical operation and connected to the PCH.

The storage options go through two M.2 32 Gb / s slots and eight SATA III 6 Gb / s ports to combine all the benefits of SSD storage and mechanical disks of a lifetime.
