Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce is now available in European stores
Gigabyte's Z390 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce motherboard had been announced in December with the big novelty of integrated liquid cooling that features a monoblock that covers the CPU and chipset.
Its launch price seems exorbitant
The motherboard is beginning to have availability in stores in Europe above 1000 euros. In Amazon Spain the price scales to 1170 euros at the time of writing these lines, and in Newegg we can find it for 899 dollars.
Perhaps this is part of Gigabyte's pressure for higher profitability of its products, by selling them more expensive they have better profit margins, especially in high-end products. We will see if the market agrees with these prices that Gigabyte offers for its Z390 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce.
Recall that the Z390 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce is a LGA 1151 socket motherboard designed for Intel processors and uses the Z390 chipset, making it fully compatible with the 8th and 9th generation Core processor series.
The CPU socket is powered by 2 8-pin connectors with a metal frame around them. The motherboard has a total of 16 digital IR VRMs. The power zone includes 16 60A TDA21462 MOSFETs and 8 IR3599 phase benders. Memory support is up to 64GB with four DIMM slots.
We are talking about an ideal motherboard for extreme overclocking to a high-performance Intel Core processor, the only flaw is its price.
