Gigabyte Z390 Designare is presented to us dressed in gala, with a high-quality cardboard box and a very attractive design. It shows that we are talking about some of the best Gigabyte motherboards if not the best. The box informs us of all its most important characteristics and specifications, so that we have no doubts when it comes to checking out.
We open the box and find everything perfectly protected so that it does not suffer damage during transport, in total we see the following bundle:

It is the latest release from the company for the current Intel mainstream platform, it is a motherboard with full support for the new 8-core Intel Core i9-9900K processors thanks to its Z390 chipset and the LGA 1151 socket. Thanks to this the most demanding users will be able to obtain the maximum performance from their system. Gigabyte Z390 Designare is built with a jet black AT5 305 x 244mm PCB, and black board armor that looks great. Plus the aesthetics are worthy of a motherboard for design professionals with subtle, unobtrusive LED lighting so design professionals can focus on their artwork.

This Gigabyte Z390 Designare uses a 12 + 1 phase digital VRM design, which includes both the PWM digital controller and the DrMOS. These 100% digital controllers join solid ATX-pin, 8-pin EPS, and 4-pin ATX power connectors to deliver incredible precision in power delivery to the most power-sensitive components on the motherboard, making it that enables enthusiasts to get the most out of the ninth generation of Intel Core processors. Through the motherboard's built-in DP-In design, professionals can transfer image and audio signals from a high-end graphics card and use the Thunderbolt interface to achieve 8K resolution, for more accurate and detailed graphics in their illustrations..
As for the audio, it uses the ALC1220-VB codec from Realtek, the sound engine that we usually see in all high-end motherboards and that gives a very good result. This sound system is manufactured with the best quality Nichicon 12k capacitors, which allow to offer a very crystalline and clean sound together with the independent sections for both channels. It also offers a high impedance headphone amp and virtual 7.1 sound.

We came across a somewhat classic BIOS by Gigabyte. We are missing a little more design and more intuitive options at this point in the film. Honestly "tarnishes" the performance so good that this motherboard offers for benefits.

Overclocking and temperatures
The processor in stock frequency reads 1.28 v instead of the 1.32 v that we saw in the ASRock Z390 Taichi. So you speak pretty well of this Gigabyte Designare? Regarding overclocking, we have reached 5 GHz with a voltage of 1.34v. Perhaps a little high, compared to other motherboards that we have tested in our test bench, but seeing the segment that is addressed, you are forgiven .
We continue with our new temperature test. After 12 hours of prime95 in long duration, we achieved a temperature in the VRM of 70 ºC to 73 ºC on average. There are some spikes, but the ability to refrigerate is very good. We recommend that this test is with the stock speed of the i9-9900k.

The Gigabyte Z390 Designare is a motherboard designed for workstations, designers and enthusiastic users. With a sober but not aggressive design, highly durable components, excellent cooling and great connection possibilities are its strongest points.
