The Google Home smart speaker already supports three versions of the Spanish language, which shows its imminent arrival in Mexico and Spain.

Google Home understands your Spanish, speak it where you speak it

The voice assistant Google Assistant already offers support for the Spanish language for a long time, however, this compatibility only refers to what we could call “generic format”, that is, without the peculiarities of the different versions of Spanish that are used. they speak in different territories.

Earlier this week, Google released three new versions of Spanish in order to make the sound of the assistant's voices as natural as possible to the native ear. These three new "dialects" are Spain, Mexico and the United States. Consequently, Spanish-speaking people in any of these three countries will be able to listen to the Google Assistant in their local adaptation.

But in addition, this novelty suggests that the Google Home device will soon go on sale in Spain and Mexico because the company's custom is to update its Assistant with a new language or dialect and, shortly after, launch the device for sale in the country in question.

Although there is no official confirmation from Google, we do know from Android Police that the El Corte Inglés chain briefly and temporarily included the Google Home and Google Home Mini devices for online sale.

As for Mexico, there has been no similar leak yet, although during the Google I / O 2018 conference, the company showed a map of the countries that will get the Google Assistant before the end of the year. Both Spain and Mexico were on that map. However, Google did not mention in which countries the Google Home will also start to be sold.
