Google maps will let us add and delete places we have visited

If you use Google Maps with some regularity on your smartphone or tablet and want to verify the location of a place that you have visited in the past, it is easy to do it from the “Your sites” section that you can find in the application menu. But it is possible that, sometimes, you cannot find any site that you have visited or, perhaps, what you want is to delete a place that you went from that list for any reason.

You can erase your fingerprints from Google Maps

As we have been able to see and read on the Android Police website, the recently released version 9.70, still in beta, of Google Maps, adds a new option in its menu that allows users to add a specific business or location to the list of visited places. From then on, when you click on that place, it will show you not only that you have been in that place, but also the last time you were in that place. In addition, you can also see it in your timeline. But perhaps most interesting of all is that there is also a new option "Delete" that allows you to delete any place that is registered in the application as visited.

Do not forget that these new functions that allow you to add and remove locations that we have visited are still in the testing phase in the beta version of Google Maps, that is, they are not yet officially available and, although it is likely that they will be include in the application in the near future, it is still unknown how it will happen.

On the other hand, Android Police have also found some other interesting news in the beta APK code that reveal possible future new features for Google Maps such as personalized shortcuts, movie schedules and support for ticket sales, a native screen capture function, and others.
