Google maps renews its icons for faster searches

Google Maps has been making changes to the application for months. It is the turn of a new change in the well-known navigation application, which now debuts new icons. This introduces icons designed to make searching for some options in the city, the most common searches quicker and easier. Think about finding gas stations, restaurants or attractions of interest.

In addition, we can see that this explore tab is slightly modified in Google Maps. Since before, when we used it, fewer options came out. Now, the application introduces a total of eight options, which are the ones that we can see in the photo on the right. So we can click on one of them, to show the options in our area.

They have been launched with the intention of making searches easier. In this way, if you are in a city you do not know and you are looking for gas stations, you will only have to press and the ones closest to your area will be shown on the screen.

The new Google Maps icons have already been launched to users in the application. They are available on both Android and iOS. So if you use the app regularly, you shouldn't have to wait too long to get them.
