Google won't update Google Pixel beyond 2019

Google has confirmed that the Google Pixel will receive Android updates up to a maximum of two years after its launch, and a maximum of 3 years for security updates. What does this mean? It is very likely that there will be no updates beyond 2019.

What will happen to the Google Pixel updates?

So far Android updates are guaranteed until 2018. This year the mobile will be updated to Android O, and next year it can be updated to Android P.
