Active Corners is one of the most useful functions on Apple Macs. This is a function that allows you to configure actions such as activating the screensaver, showing the desktop and many more by placing the cursor in one of the four corners of the screen. It appears that Google has plans to introduce this feature on its Chromebooks, as seen in the ChromeOS code.

Google will use the Active Corners feature in ChromeOS

This function has been seen in the flags menu already, so it could be made official very soon in the operating system.

New feature running

Google would seek in this way to provide greater functionality to ChromeOS. It is a function that on the Mac enjoys good ratings from users, since it contributes to certain actions being carried out faster at all times. So it is a good bet on the part of the firm, since the users will surely take advantage of it.

For now it has not been said when this function would arrive to the operating system. It's already shown in the code, which is usually an indication that it won't take too long. But Google hasn't said anything about this feature so far.

We can only wait for it to become official, therefore, it should not take too long. A new feature with which ChromeOS is improved. Although surely many will criticize the one they have copied to Apple's Mac in this case.
