Telegram has managed to position itself as one of the favorite instant messaging applications of users. Although, it also has a negative side. Since it has become, according to many, a haven for piracy. Thanks to unlimited storage and fast file transfers, plus its privacy, it is an ideal option for hacking.

We can find channels on Telegram dedicated to series, movies or music. A channel called "Any Suitable Pop" has been the cause of the problems. It has caused Telegram to block it, following a copyright claim. After having uploaded Taylor Swift's latest album on the channel.

Closed a Telegram channel

The creator of the channel himself has recognized that it was probably that album that caused the closure of the channel. In addition, the most curious thing is that it was not the record company that has requested the closure. Instead of being Big Machine Records, Google and Apple have been the ones that have asked for the closure of the channel. The application contacted Anton Vagin (owner of the channel) after the complaint from Google and Apple.

Apparently, the pressure was so great that Telegram was threatened with withdrawing the application from Google Play. So this channel has been closed. Although Vagin already has a new channel running that he claims will continue to share discs.
