Nvidia has quietly released the GeForce GTX 1650 Super, an improved variant of the regular GTX 1650 with higher performance. Nvidia talks about 50% more performance than the normal model.

The GTX 1650 Super leaves the TU117 GPU behind to use a layered version of the larger TU116 GPU found in the GTX 1660 series. This results in the 'Super' variant getting 1, 280 CUDA cores (compared to the original 896) Higher clock speeds, the aforementioned 4GB of enhanced GDDR6 memory over a 192-bit connection, and well, just more of everything.
Overall, the GeForce GTX 1650 Super seems poised to offer a significant performance upgrade over its predecessor, though in doing so it loses the salient feature of the regular model, the ability to function without a power cord. The consumption of the card goes from 75W powered only for the PCIe slot to 100W in the 'Super' model.

It is clear that the GTX 1650 Super will catch the attention of players in the lower-middle range for its price of 160 USD.
