Hiditec GX20

It is really easy to get lost now to choose a good mouse and even more so if we have a limited budget, that's where we will emphasize with this mouse, and everything it offers.

In the first place and one of the aspects to always take into account is its sensor and its precision, here we have two strong assets, since it uses the AVAGO 3050 optical sensor, an entry-level model in the gaming world but endowed with variable precision throughout moment from 500 to 4000dpi, some really good figures for any use, be it gaming, design, office automation or as home use.

Ergonomically designed, this GX20 is suitable for ambidextrous and can also configure each button as we will see later, to our needs or particularities. With a firm body, buttons of up to 10 million keystrokes signed by Omrom, will remove the early wear from our heads, as well as we mention its weight of 135gr, giving it firmness within the reach of most hands.

It has a central button to instantly change the cursor speed, as well as 4 buttons on the sides of the GX, which are free to choose the function you want as if it were a macro. Another detail is its support pads, with a wear support of up to 250km. Will we really go that far?

The lighting is completely automatic and random, making gradients in all colors, not excessive intensity and all its buttons and scroll. Finally, mention that its wiring is meshed and the software is downloadable from the official Hiditec website and is entirely in Spanish.

Operation and Software.

The mouse as usual nowadays is plug & play, there is no "need" software since it has buttons to vary its precision in 3 modes, going from softer to faster and the buttons of everyday use, but the grace and the Harness comes into play once it is installed.

The mouse does not require complex configuration as we see, on the main screen we have a pre-configured profile with the basic accesses, being able to alter all of them at any time and save our customized profiles, it would be enough with a simple click and choose one, for example for games, another for work, or one more focused on a multimedia environment.

As we see, and we like, is that we can apply another style of use, such as a "copy and paste" to work faster, fast advances, font management, searches, volume, home, in short… all of them adjustable. In the next and last configuration tab we find the precision, scroll speed, pulsation and at the bottom the dpi precision, which alters the button that gives us the 3 shortcuts but, being able to choose what value we want at all times, as a new configuration.

Conclusions

Fantastic lighting without leaks, soft but firm, clicks without strange noises, a configuration to the height and in Spanish… There are few drawbacks to this mouse and it is that despite everything it offers it is at a very attractive price threshold, thus unmarking itself of many competing models.

What is a shame is not being able to cancel the lighting or being able to vary its intensity, movement… and perhaps, for larger hands or thick fingers, it can be narrow, moving away a bit more ergonomically from other models of the brand.

Except for this, the mouse fully complies, playing as we have done and having a custom configuration, we quickly get used to its smoothness and precision, or in programming environments, we can enter pre-recorded commands, speed up the work of the same, since not everything is playing, right ?.
