Honor announces its first magicbook laptop with cpu intel 'coffee lake'

Honor is the most affordable sub-brand of the phone maker Huawei. Although they also offer Huawei phone alternatives at lower prices, they also have laptops. Honor MagicBook, is the first ultrabook of the company.

By its name and its appearance, the 'inspiration' in Apple's MacBook Air is quite clear. It is only 15.8 mm thick and weighs 1.47 kg. It uses a 14-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS matte LCD panel with an 800: 1 contrast ratio and 250 nits of brightness. This screen offers 45% coverage of NTSC color.

Users can choose between two variants: an Intel Core i5-8250u version or one with a more powerful Intel Core i7-8550u processor. Each comes with 8GB of RAM along with a 256GB SATA SSD for storage. Surprisingly, it actually comes equipped with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU with 2GB of GDDR5.

Both the CPU and GPU cooling system share a single fan with two copper heatpipes. It absorbs the air from the sides and from the left back, then expels it from the right back.

Surprisingly, it has a fairly large 57.4Wh battery, with a range of about 12 hours. It even has a USB-C charging port, with a quick charge option of 0 to 70% in just one hour.

It is now available in Asia through Vmall and will soon be available in regular import stores. The model with the i5 is priced at approximately $ 792 per change. The i7 version would cost about $ 900.
