The Huawei MatePad Pro includes a two-way wireless connection, the ability to mirror the screen of a paired smartphone, and the aforementioned 5G connectivity. The Tablet will ship with EMUI 10.0.1, which is a custom version of Android.
Huawei says the MatePad Pro is the first Tablet to support wireless charging. By charging the device, you can charge at speeds of up to 27W, and then you can reverse the charge of the devices up to 7.5W. You can use this ability to charge the keyboard case wirelessly, but you can also use it to charge headphones or a smartphone if supported. That said, it will only charge one device at a time, just like any other device that offers reverse wireless charging.
Compared to the iPad Pro, the MatePad Pro 5G's bezels are much smaller, resulting in what Huawei claims is a 90% screen-to-body ratio.
The 10.8-inch screen is offering a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:10. Inside we have a powerful Kirin 990 processor designed by Huawei itself that is combined with 6 or 8GB of RAM depending on the chosen model. It also varies the storage capacity from 128 to 256GB.
The battery is no less than 7, 250mAh, which should guarantee many hours of use (10 hours approx.), Although this always depends on what we do with the Tablet.
As with their laptops, you can pair the two devices using NFC, this time by tapping the phone on the right shift key on the smart keyboard. This allows you to do things like type messages on your phone using the keyboard or transfer files between the two devices.
