The new HiSilicon Kirin 950 is made up of eight cores in big.LITTLE configuration divided into four Coretx A53 and four Cortex A72 at a maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz, an excellent configuration to offer a good compromise between power and energy efficiency. The rest of its features include a Mali-T880 GPU, LPDDR4 memory compatibility, support for LTE Cat.10 networks and the possibility of dealing with 4K resolutions.

The promising Kirin 950 processor will debut in the next Huawei Mate 8, the new 6-inch phablet from the Chinese firm that will be presented at IFA 2015 that will take place from September 4.
