Kingston's gaming brand HyperX has unveiled a new series of high-performance DDR4 RAM memory modules at Gamescom 2018. Let's get to know them.
Refurbished Kingston Predator DDR4 modules
The new modules will be available in versions with and without RGB lighting, for users who prefer to save more money or enjoy greater aesthetics.
The brand will be selling kits of up to 128GB of memory and clock speeds of up to 4133 MT / s, so they are aimed at enthusiastic users and on budget.
Fortunately, the brand indicates that the modules will be fully compatible with Intel and AMD, so we hope that they will be well matched with the latest platforms, allowing you to configure their announced frequency with the fewest possible problems.
The RGB LEDs of the new Predators will be addressable and can be controlled using the lighting software of the main board manufacturers: Asus, Gigabyte, MSI and ASRock. Obviously, the board must support these functions.
Interestingly, kits with RGB will only go up to 32GB of RAM and 4000MT / s, while standard kits will reach 128GB and 4133MT / s.
All models run at 1.35V, and pricing and availability have not been announced. Seeing how the market is, what is clear is that we do not need more attractive RAMs or with more features, but cheaper. The market has seen a major price spike in recent months, which is reluctant to retreat, and we remain stuck in high prices.
