Unboxing and design

HyperX makes a compact and very elegant presentation. On the cover we can see one of the two modules. While in the left area of the cover the name of the model and the speed of the modules. Once we look at the back, it details the new benefits and technical characteristics of the product (on the sticker).

The pack is made up of two DDR4 modules of 8GB each, which make a total of 16 GB at 3200 Mhz and CL17 latency with a voltage of 1.20v.

Without a doubt, it is the highest range of memories on the market with absolute compatibility with the most reliable profile: XMP 2.0. Although these modules have three profiles:

Profile 1: DDR4-2400 CL17-17-17 @ 1.2V Profile 2: DDR4-3200 CL16-18-18 @ 1.35V Profile 3: DDR4-3000 CL15-17-17 @ 1.35V

The design of the heatsink is very renewed with a profile of 8.3 mm thick, 42.2 high and 133.35 mm long, which makes it one of the best RAM memory on the market and that allows us to perform a large overclock. (3333 MHz). It also changes the color from aluminum to black, offering greater heat dissipation and optimum reliability.

We have used a top of the range Z170 motherboard and an i7-6700k processor that we have been using for many months in our test bench. All the results have been passed with the 3200 MHz profile and the applied voltage of 1.35V in Dual Channel. Let's go see them!

The HyperX Predator DDR4 RAM memory kit we've reviewed meets all the features of a top-of-the-line product: hat-less sink, great performance, and really cool.
