HyperX Savage USB 128GB

HyperX presents its 32GB flash drive in a plastic blister. On the front we specify the model, speeds and size of the storage devices. Specifically, this is the 128GB model that works at a reading speed of 350MB / s and a writing speed of 250MB / s.

The design of the flash drive in red and black is quite aggressive, both to the touch and at first glance has given us very good feelings. It has dimensions of 76.3 × 23.48 × 12.17 mm and has a high weight when being built with metallic material.

The flash drive has a removable cap and a hook to hang it on our keychain.

The HyperX Savage USB pendrive offers USB 3.1 Gen 1 functionality, which will allow us to get the most out of the USB 3.0 ports of new laptops and desktops.

It is compatible with both desktop computers, laptops, current game consoles (PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360). As you can see in the previous image, we have connected it to our main computer (i7-6700K, Asus Z170M Plus, 16GB DDR4…). In it, we will perform all performance tests.

As we can see in our tests, the pendrive offers a read rate of 349 MB / s and a write rate of 307 MB / s. Amazing we have 57 MB / s more than promised on paper. What a good performance! Bravo for the HyperX Savage USB!

HyperX has left us a great taste in the mouth with its HyperX Savage USB, both for its metallic design and for its excellent performance in our tests. There are three models available: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.

In our performance tests we have achieved a reading speed of 350 MB / s and 307 MB / s. In the transfer of files from an SSD to the HyperX Savage USB it has achieved an average of 276 to 280 MB / s. Without a doubt, one of the best flash drives on the market.

We can already find them available in online stores for 49.98 euros for 64GB, 79 euros for 128GB and 135 euros for 256GB. HyperX offers a 5 year warranty.
