Along with its business notebooks, Lenovo has introduced its new ranges of affordable notebooks. The firm has left us with the IdeaPads and the IdeaCentre family. It is a range for students, families or young professionals, who are looking for a powerful, quality laptop to work with. But without this entailing paying too much money.
IdeaPad and IdeaCentre family: New ranges of Lenovo notebooks
We find a total of four new computers in this range. We have the IdeaPad S540, S340 the C340 and the IdeaCentre AIO A340, which is a desktop model, the only one in the range.
Lenovo IdeaPad S540 and S340
The first model is the new ultrathin IdeaPad S540 laptop. Available in 14 and 15 inch sizes in an aluminum chassis. Users can choose between the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics, or the AMD Ryzen 7 3700U mobile processor with a Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics card. So everyone can decide which is the best in your case. In both cases it is presented as a powerful laptop, with a battery that lasts up to 12 hours.
Available in three colors: Nether Blue, Copper and Mineral Gray. The brand has reduced the frames on this laptop, which has a Full HD IPS screen. It has a Dolby Audio speaker system. Also, if you want, when you are not using the laptop, Lenovo allows you to slide the TrueBlock shutter, which covers the laptop's webcam.
The younger brother of the IdeaPad S540 is the new IdeaPad S340. It is an even thinner and lighter notebook, which is 14 or 15 inches in size. As in the previous one, it is possible to choose the combination, between: 8th generation of the Intel Core i7-8565U processor and an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics card, or the AMD Ryzen 7 3700U mobile processor and a Radeon RX Vega graphics card.
One of the key features on this laptop is the presence of Amazon's Alexa. Lenovo has collaborated with the company so that the wizard can be used in it at all times. Another good brand laptop at MWC 2019.
IdeaPad C340: Convertible 2 in 1
Thirdly we have this new 2-in-1 convertible laptop IdeaPad C340. A model that has a lot to do with other notebooks, although it is presented as a very versatile model. It can be purchased in 14 and 15 inch sizes. The advantage is that we can adapt it to each situation, so that sometimes it is a laptop and sometimes a tablet. Ideal for working or consuming content in a simple way.
Lenovo IdeaCentre AI0 A340
Lastly we have this Lenovo desktop computer which is the IdeaCentre AIO A340. Designed to fit almost any modern home or workspace. It is released in two colors (black and white). It has a Full HD screen of 22 or 24 inches in size, in addition to having reduced the frames of it in a remarkable way. It has been designed for families or professionals. Again, users are allowed to choose between the Intel Core i5-8400T with AMD Radeon 530 graphics or up to 7th generation AMD A9-9425 with Radeon R5 graphics.
Any of these branded computers can be combined with the new Yoga ANC headphones that Lenovo has also presented at MWC 2019. They have ANC (active noise cancellation) and ENC (ambient noise cancellation) technologies, in addition to having a voice assistant.
