ASRock X570 Taichi confirms PCIe 4.0 support
Looking at the box, we know that the ASRock X570 Taichi will support an HDMI display output, confirming support for Ryzen APU, PCIe 4.0, Polychrome RGB lighting technology, and the next generation of AMD's Ryzen 3000 desktop processors.
The box also clearly lists this motherboard as an AMD AM4 product, with confirmed Ryzen 3rd generation compatibility for all motherboards with AM4 socket.
The Taichi series of motherboards is one of the best ASRock offerings in its catalog, with a 16-phase power design, support for DDR4 3466+ memory, Quad SLI and AMD Quad CrossFireX compatibility, and M.2 slot.
Hopefully, the new Taichi X570 will offer all of this and more, such as confirmed PCIe 4.0 support, which will further increase the available bandwidth for graphics cards and SSDs.
With Computex just around the corner, ASRock is likely to officially reveal its X570 line of motherboards in the coming weeks, and AMD is expected to announce more details about the third-generation Ryzen line right there at Computex 2019, during company opening speech. We will be attentive to all the news.
