For months we have heard about mining cards. However, these are special cards that are not for sale in all countries because they have guarantees of only 3 months.

The new P106 mining cards are modified models of the GTX 1060 without monitor connectors. In this way, their design is much simpler and they are cheaper to manufacture. Along with this limited warranty, they will surely be a good option for miners.

The P106-090 will only consume 75W and will have two models with different cooling systems

On the other hand, unlike the GTX series, these cards cannot be used for gaming during mining as they lose power.

Although we have heard of other mining cards (such as the P102-100, P104-100) so far, only the P106-100 and P106-090 have been confirmed. And its specifications have also come to light thanks to confirmation by Inno3D.

The P106-090 is equipped with only 768 shaders, slightly less than the P106-100 and the 3GB GTX 1060. In fact, it is the same number of CUDA cores as in the GTX 1050 Ti.

One of the main advantages of the P106-090 over the GTX 1050 Ti is the width of the memory bus. Unlike the GP107-based model, the P106-090 comes with a 192-bit bus.

According to Inno3D, the PDP of the P106-090 is only 75W, so the power connector would not be necessary. However, external power will be essential since the graphics card will be connected through a PCIe x1 riser. That's why all Inno3D mining boards use 6-pin power connectors.

Inno3D manufactured two models of the P106-090, a single-fan mini-ITX model called the Compact and a slightly larger card with two fans called the Twin X2.
