The leak comes from the crypto-currency blog (cryptomining-blog.com) that has revealed that NVIDIA P102-100 specific graphics cards for mining will soon hit the market. A specific variant has been completely detailed, which appears to be a card made by Inno3D.

Previously, we had heard of rumors that NVIDIA would upgrade its GP102, but this does not appear to be the case. The GPU P102-100 is based on the GPU GP102 and comes with a new trimmed core, intended for cryptocurrency miners. The specs are different from what we've seen on previous GP102 cards, so let's take a look to see what we found.

Inno3D P102-100 Specifications:

  • GPU: P102-100 CUDA cores: 3200 Base clock: 1582 MHz Memory clock: 11 Gbps VRAM memory size: 5 GB Memory type: GDDR5X Memory bandwidth: 320-bit Bus support speed: PCIe Gen1 x4 Size card length: 21.5 cm length, 12.5 cm height, dual slot Maximum TDP: 250 watts Power connectors: 2x 8-pin PCI-E

The NVIDIA P102-100 'GP102' GPU includes some 3, 200 CUDA cores that are programmed at a base frequency of 1582 MHz (no higher frequency mentioned). The graphics card comes with 5 GB of GDDR5X memory at 11 with a 320-bit memory bus. This means that we are getting 400 GB / s of bandwidth from this card.

As they say, you can get a speed of 47 MH / s on Ethereum with this graphics card.
