DRAM module vendor Innodisk has introduced its new 3MG2-P SSD solid state storage device with AES encryption that provides advanced security against unwanted access to your data.
The Innodisk 3MG2-P SSD is available in 2.5 ″, mSATA, SATA Slim and M.2 form formats to suit the needs of a broad spectrum of users. The 3MG2-P SSD protects all your information through hardware AES encryption whose key is stored in the SSD's security area, erasing your data by destroying your AES key takes less than 1 second.
The Innodisk's 3MG2-P SSD is designed to offer high reliability as well as very high performance. Inside is an ID201 controller that with its synchronous NAND technology provides sequential read and write speeds of 520 MB / s and 450 MB / s respectively. For its part, the performance in 4K random read and write amounts to 80, 000 IOPS and 76, 000 IOPS.
Energy efficiency is also important, so DEVSLP support is available to increase battery life and lower the cost of energy consumed in data centers. There is also no lack of Innodisk's iCell technology that is responsible for detecting power drops and uses an algorithm to save data from volatile memory to nonvolatile memory.
Its launch prices were not announced but will be available in capacities up to 2TB.
