Instagram will return to the chronological feed

More than a year ago Instagram made the decision to change the algorithm that organized the posts in the feed. Due to this they were not going to be shown based on the published date. Rather, they would be displayed based on the user's tastes. A decision that has never been liked by users of the application. Something that its creators have realized (finally).

Instagram will return to the chronological feed

Users have spent the entire time asking for the feed to return in chronological order. It seems that the application has finally taken note. They have confirmed their return in a post on their blog.

The Instagram timeline feed will be back soon

Opposition to the decision to change the algorithm was greatest. But the app decided to change it anyway. But they have seen that it is a decision that has not gone entirely well. Therefore, they have been forced to backtrack and return to the feed in chronological order. So recent posts will have higher priority in the app.

Although at the moment it is not known when this will happen. Since they have commented that it will arrive throughout the next months. So it will come in some future Instagram update. But the creators have not said anything more about it.

Therefore, we will have to wait a while until the feed in chronological order becomes a reality again. But we don't know when it will happen. So we will have to be vigilant. But at least the will of the users is finally fulfilled.
