Actually, this news is not entirely new because we have seen it in Intel's 9th generation processors, specifically in the " F " models. These did not have integrated graphics, but it seems that Intel's strategy is to extend this practice to " K " models, those that can be overclocked.
This company associates the expression " GT0 " (Zero Graphics Tier) with chips that do not incorporate integrated graphics to differentiate them from the rest. The 2 main reasons for processors not to bring these are a performance improvement and a price drop. Such a strategy would allow Intel to disable integrated graphics to compete with AMD Ryzen on a face-to-face basis. This is the case with the Intel Core i5-9400F, which has a very interesting price.
Apparently Intel plans to extend this to the upcoming " F " and " KF " models. There are at least 3 chips "F" and "KF". In the image we see:
