Intel: amd did a good job, but our cpus are still better

With the arrival of the new Ryzen 3000 CPUs , it is undeniable that the processor market has changed considerably. This jump in red team performance has meant a major internal change for the company. However, Intel has made its statements regarding its thoughts on the new “Zen 2” based processors at Gamescom 2019.

The truth is that the Californian company has remained quite silent regarding the success of AMD's new products. In fact, until not long ago they did not even comment on their current situation.

However, at Gamescom 2019 , an Intel representative has started a campaign comparing both CPU models :

A year ago, when we introduced the Intel Core i9-9900k, it was listed as the fastest gaming CPU in the world. And I can honestly say that nothing has changed. It is still the fastest gaming CPU in the world.

I think you've heard a lot of news about the competition recently, but when we go out and test real-world tests, not synthetic tests, but real-world tests of how these games perform on our platform. We took the i9-9900k and compared it against the Ryzen 9 3900X.

They run 12 cores and we have 8. I'll be honest, very forceful: Hey, they have done a good job closing the gap, but we still have the highest performing CPU in the gaming industry and we are going to keep that title.

The statements are sharp and accompanied by a series of slides where he shows his supporting arguments.

Of course, we can see different aspects where both win, although in the end everything will be the decision of the users.
