The entire series of Intel Comet Lake processors have been listed with their retail prices by Belgian store 2Compute. The data was collected by Twitter users momomo_us.

Intel Comet Lake, the 2Compute retailer lists its prices

First, it is important to differentiate between a Box and an OEM processor. The first is the type you would buy at any local store, while the second is the one Intel sells in bulk to large original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). They can be differentiated by the processor part number. Boxed processors carry the BX prefix while OEM / tray processors start with the CM prefix.

For starters, F-series variants are reported to be up to $ 30 cheaper than their non-F counterparts. For example, the Core i9-10900K appears to cost $ 562, while the Core i9-10900KF appears for $ 532. This was to be expected considering that the F series is characterized by a lack of integrated graphics.

Apparently the Comet Lake 65W and 35W chips are presumably priced the same. Again, using the Core i9 parts as an example, the Core i9-10900 and Core i9-10900T are reportedly priced at $ 506. Do not forget that the first is the highest performance and best choice, since it costs the same as the 35W model. The prices in the table are without VAT and apply to a single unit.

Seeing the prices listed here (which may vary from their Box variants), the Core i9-10900K, for example, would have problems compared to a Ryzen 9 3900X, which costs less than 500 euros and has 12 cores instead of 10.

Keep in mind that prices here would be above those recommended by Intel, so perhaps we could expect Box versions to be somewhat cheaper.

Unfortunately, we may not see the arrival of Comet Lake until June. According to a recent report, the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) likely affected the production of Comet Lake processors. We will keep you informed.
