Intel core i5 10300h, i7 10750h and i7 10875h will be released in late March

After the imminent departure of AMD's powerful processors for mobility that seem to be real performance beasts, especially the 4800H, Intel does not want to stand idly by and will also release its tenth generation soon.

There will be three models in question and the sources affirm that the embargo will be lifted on March 31. Obviously the dates could change during this month, but they should not fluctuate greatly anyway.

But the most important thing will be to know their manufacturing process, since no matter how much optimization they introduced in the current 14nm node, they would have nothing to do with AMD's 7nm Renoir silicons. But we fear the worst, and the blue brand will surely continue with it through Comet Lake-H.

New nodes of 4, 6 and up to 8 cores with Hyperthreading

So far not much is known about these three processors, but their core count and who they should replace for this 10th generation.

We start with the Intel Core i5-10300H, a CPU that is obviously called to replace the i5 9300H as a new CPU with 4 physical and 8 logical cores. Unofficially, the information that is handled is that it could offer a performance 11% higher than the 9300H with 2.5 GHz of base frequency and 4.3 GHz in boost. It would continue using a UHD Graphics 630 GPU or a 45W TDP. Remember that this is not yet official information.

Now we turn to the Intel Core i7-10750H, whose direct predecessor would be the 9750H mounted on the vast majority of gaming laptops. This CPU offers us a count of 6 physical and 12 logical cores. Like the previous one, it could be using Comet Lake-H and it would only increase the clock frequency with respect to the 9750H, becoming 2.6 and 4.7 GHz.

Finally, the second replacement for the 9750H would be the Intel Core i7-10875H, a variant designed to compete in principle with AMD's 4800H. The count rises to 8 physical and 16 logical nuclei without yet knowing its working frequency.

If indeed it is confirmed that these new nodes also use a 14nm manufacturing processor, we would already be facing the 5th generation with them. It is clear that it could not compete in pure performance with the new AMD, so it only remains to reduce prices on equipment, something that would be phenomenal for users. Although it would also be missing to see what price range would be the AMD, because we know that they are always cheaper than Intel.

In any case, the outlook becomes quite interesting, we will keep an eye out for new updates.
