Intel has announced the new generation of Core vPro processors for notebook computers that will improve the performance, battery life, Wi-Fi connection speed and security of notebook computers.
Intel Announces New Series of Core vPro Processors for Laptops
The new chipset is based on Intel's Whiskey Lake architecture. According to the manufacturer, these chipsets will provide up to 65% performance improvement and up to 11 hours of battery life.
The new Intel vPro chipsets can be configured with Intel Wi-Fi 6 modules to provide faster connections to the internet and to other equipment. In addition, it offers Bluetooth 5.0 with the AC 9560 RF wireless transceiver chip. All this will allow faster streaming, video conferencing and much more. Manufacturers can also add the Intel XMM 7360 M.2 chip that includes LTE Cat. 10 for super-fast data connectivity. These new chipsets are intended for business users and employees who want faster performance for their daily tasks.
The chipsets also fully support Thunderbolt 3, 16-track PCIe 3.0, and USB 3.1 Gen 2 connections with a transfer rate of 10 Gbps. It also comes with the new Intel Optane H10 SSDs to make the system even faster. In the graphic section, the chipset includes the Intel UHD 620 with DDR4 or LPDDR3 memory. Finally, along with the new vPro processors, Intel has also released Hardware Shield technology.
