Intel will launch haswell later this year
According to sources from tweaktown Haswell will arrive in June this year with the Z87 platform as the mid-range solution. Nothing we have not already commented.
The most interesting thing is that Ivy Bridge-E will not appear in 2014 as planned. It would come out later this year 2013 and with the name of Haswell-E next to the X99 chipset. This can jump alarms for users with x79 chipset and socket 2011. Will there be socket change? Is it just a name change? It is still too early to know.
