Intel presents its new graphics command center application

Intel has revealed the design and overall look (as well as functionality, though it's always changing) of its new Graphics Command Center app, which shows the company's vision for a graphics hub or dashboard, similar to what it already does. offers NVIDIA and AMD.

The design is coherent from the thematic point of view with a predominant light blue color and a simple arrangement of the sections. The more 'advanced' options are expected to be added closer to or at the time of the launch of Intel Xe graphics cards. For now, the features maintain the minimalist approach to Intel's integrated graphics. In short, it is more of a new paint coat than a new Graphics Control Panel itself.

Intel made a video available on its Twitter account, and announced an early access program for users who want to participate in the development of the features and usability of the new Graphics Command Center. The new application is available through the Microsoft App Store on Windows.

In the meantime, Intel has started showing a few things about its Xe graphics architecture, with new renders on what it looks like, and we're speculating on a launch targeting the current mid-range of graphics cards. We will be aware of all the news that may arise about them, so stay tuned.
