Apple has released a new version of the iPad, its acclaimed tablet, improving the performance of the previous model and reducing its thickness as usual in the signature of the bitten apple.

The new iPad Air 2 features a 9.7-inch screen coated with an anti-reflective coating that Apple says reduces reflections by 56%. Of course it has Retina resolution for maximum image quality.

Inside it is the Apple A8X processor with 64-bit ARM microarchitecture, being more powerful than the A8 version mounted on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. It continues to be manufactured with a 20nm lithographic process, which ensures excellent energy efficiency compared to its rivals. The new chip is 40% more powerful in CPU and 2.5 times faster in GPU compared to the Apple A7 of the previous iPad Air.

The rest of the specifications are completed with an 8-megapixel main camera with f / 2.4 aperture capable of recording video at 1080p and 120 fps in its Slow Motion mode, double microphone to record stereo audio, integrated fingerprint detector on the Home button, Wifi, optional 4G LTE and a battery that promises up to 10 hours of use. Finally it has a thickness of 6.1 mm being the thinnest tablet in the world.
