DataTraveler 2000 that offers hardware encryption and PIN protection with access through an alphanumeric keyboard.
Its design is intended for IT security professionals, small and medium businesses and end users who require electronic data protection. DataTraveler 2000 is easy to implement in a working environment where a multitude of devices and operating systems are used, it has a separate operating system, the information is protected with hardware-based AES 256-bit encryption in XTS mode. Encryption is done on the drive and no software or hardware drivers are required.
The DataTraveler 2000 alphanumeric keyboard allows users to lock the USB with a word or combination of numbers. For added security, the automatic lock function is activated when the unit is removed from the device and the encryption key and password are cleared after 10 failed connection attempts. DataTraveler 2000 is built with resistance in mind, so it has an aluminum cover that protects the unit from everyday elements, such as water and dust.
