Information had already come out about the shortage of Intel Core Coffee Lake processors and that this could cause a price increase for their entire line. Well, a new source points back to the stock problems that the Californian company is having, which could worsen later this year.

Intel with problems in the production of chips in 10nm and 14nm

A report through PCGamesN has reported a significant chip shortage at 10nm and 14nm. This means that Intel is struggling not only to produce its new chips at 10nm, but also existing models, making the situation more worrying.

The report suggests that the silicon giant's factory currently has a major bottleneck. With Intel about to launch their new processors at any time, it is clearly not the best time for trouble. Especially when you consider Ryzen's success and the fact that AMD has deliberately delayed the launch of its Ryzen 2800X processor, awaiting a response from its competitor.

Chances are, if you want a new Intel processor, you'll probably get it if you're looking hard enough. However, there is also the possibility that we may not be able to get an Intel Coffee Lake processor until next year, something that would be very negative for all parties, for Intel and for future buyers.

We have recently been able to see some results from the Core i9-9900K processor, which give very good vibrations about its performance. It would be a shame to delay its launch due to a lack of stock. What do you think? Thinking of buying one of these new CPUs?
