The msi gtx 970 gaming gold edition has a copper radiator

A few days ago we announced that MSI is preparing a special edition of its personalized graphics card belonging to the GeForce GTX 970 series, it is the MSI GTX 970 Gaming Gold Edition that will arrive with new colors and a series of exclusive features such as the inclusion of a back backplate.

Now we have known that the MSI GTX 970 Gaming Gold Edition comes with a radiator made entirely of copper, so it should offer a higher thermal conductivity than the rest of the cards that are based on aluminum radiators, a less heat-conductive but lighter material than copper.

Due to the use of the copper radiator it is expected that the new MSI card will offer lower operating temperatures and therefore it is expected that it will offer a greater overclocking capacity.
