Thanks to its superior graphical interface, with 32-bit color and fluid and user-friendly mouse navigation, 3D mode allows novice or casual users to clearly understand which areas of the board are affected by configuration changes in the BIOS, thus clearly understanding how it works. Dual UEFI BIOS ™

At the heart of this exciting 3D BIOS ™ technology are a pair of ROMs containing the exclusive Dual UEFI BIOS ™ technology, designed by GIGABYTE, which includes our proprietary GIGABYTE DualBIOS ™ technology that automatically recovers BIOS data in case that the main BIOS fails.

BIOS switch

With the on-board BIOS switch, users can manually select which BIOS chip to use (main or backup BIOS), allowing them to have one BIOS for normal use and one specifically prepared for overclocking. It is also possible to easily compare the two versions of the BIOS, something very useful for when a user wants to update their BIOS without losing their original configuration.

Switch to disable DualBIOS ™

Using the on-board switch to disable DualBIOS ™, a user can disable DualBIOS ™ recovery functionality, helping to save time between failed overclocks.

OC Touch

OC-Touch enables overclockers to get the best performance out of their system quickly and easily. The on-board OC-Touch buttons allow overclockers to manually adjust the CPU ratio, BLCK parameters as well as its stepping ratio in 1MHz or 0.3 MHz increments. These changes can be made in real time, in both BIOS and DOS or Windows® without rebooting, so users can fine-tune their system to find the maximum CPU frequency. Voltage measurement modules have also been included on the board so that users can conveniently monitor the voltages of each component. Finally, the built-in LN2 mode switch allows the frequency to drop suddenly by a multiple of 16 during extreme overclocking exercises, to prevent overclocking from opening benchmarking applications such as CPU-Z.

Thin Fin design for heatsink

GIGABYTE has created a new design "Thin Fin" ("thin fin") for the heatsink, which includes the OC Orange appearance, brand of the house. With ultra-thin metal fins, the heatsink offers a larger surface area for heat exchange to occur at a higher speed.
