Hacker gets a positive meaning
A petition was opened long ago via the Change.org platform. Something that seems to have finally taken effect and adds a positive meaning to hacker. It has been discovered in the new update of the Dictionary of the RAE. In it you can see this new meaning. Furthermore, it is much closer to reality and to what many wished to be the definition of the word.
It seems that the RAE has taken note of what the users had to say. So although it has taken a while, this update has arrived and a new meaning is presented. You can see it in the image above. The second on the list.
