If some had doubts about the existence of the new Nvidia GTX Turing variant, here we bring you a photograph of what appears to be a meeting of the Nvidia board of directors. This shows what appears to be a sample of the final design of the new Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti.

A picture is worth a thousand words

As always, an image is worth a thousand words, and here we have it. To this we must add a recent benchmark that has appeared from Ashes of the Singularity. Here we see a huge gathering of what appears to be Nvidia's board of directors and big shots putting the finishing touches on the new Turing-based GTX series.

This will be, in our opinion, the lower-middle range of Nvidia's new Turing architecture. Its design seems to resemble the finishes of the RTX range with a double fan heatsink, although we do not know if the quality of the other cards in the range. We remember that Nvidia plans to market up to two new models of this new GTX with GPU TU116 that do not have Ray Tracing.

The Nvidia GTX 1660 has 6GB GDDR5, 1280 CUDA Cores and a 192-bit bus, and the Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti has 6GB GDDR6 with 1536 CUDA Core and a 192-bit bus. The performance of them will be higher than the GTX 1060 and lower than the RTX 2060, being able to be at the level of the GTX 1070 approximately.

These cards will very possibly see the light in this coming month of February 2019 and a price that will be around 250 or 350 euros. Obviously it should be less than the RTX 2060, but what sense would it make? Tell us yourself what expectations you have about this new range.
