The xiaomi mi pad 2 has an intel processor
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 tablet has appeared on Geekbench confirming the rumor that started months ago that it would come with an Intel processor instead of an Nvidia chip as the original model.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 includes a powerful and efficient Intel Atom Z8500 processor made up of four Airmont cores manufactured in 14nm and at a maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz. Accompanying the processor we find 2 GB of RAM, a 7.9-inch screen and the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
With this configuration, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is capable of offering a Geekbench score of 985 and 3, 268 points in single and multi core respectively. A small step back in power compared to the Tegra K1 of the original Xiami Mi Pad that gives scores of 1, 113 and 3, 481 points in the same test.
A small loss of power that could have as a positive point the use of a much more efficient processor with energy than that of the original Xiami Mi Pad, so that the autonomy of the battery could be benefited.
In any case, we will still have to wait to know the rest of the specifications of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 such as its screen resolution that can affect the performance of the processor.
