With the recent arrival of the ninth generation Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 / i9 in its F series, Gigabyte joins the manufacturers that have already released updated BIOSes to use these processors.

Gigabyte is updated to support Intel Core F series on Z390, H370, B360 and H310 boards

The brand has made the announcement in a press release, which indicates that the updated BIOS for the Z390, H370, B360, H310 chipsets are already available . Note the absence of the Z370 chipset, which we do not know why is not mentioned as supported by the manufacturer, and indeed, as we have verified on the Gigabyte website, this chipset has no published updates.

The processors now supported are, specifically the i9-9900KF, i7-9700KF, i5-9600KF, i5-9400, i5-9400F and i3-9350KF

We remind you of the characteristics of these new processors. These are, as we discuss further in this news, versions of current processors without integrated graphics. These CPUs would probably overclock better, but we would have to forget about certain technologies that take advantage of the graphics card such as QuickSync. In any case, if there were a large price difference between these and the versions with integrated (which we do not think there is) they could be interesting.

Updated BIOS can be found in the support tabs of the corresponding boards. We leave you these links to quickly access the list of boards according to the chipset you have.
