The last of us finally announces its second part at psx 2016

Maybe you've played The Last of Us on PS3 or PS4 or heard of that playable cinematic experience. The game that captivated so many players, becoming the third best-selling game on PS3 despite going on sale the year before the release of PS4, announces with this trailer its second installment.

More sadness

The trailer only shows us the graphics capabilities, which in the first installment impressed by squeezing the PS3 Cell processor to the maximum, but also the relationship between Joel and Ellie that marked the players. This is one of the examples to point to whoever says that the video game is not an art, its history a banal justification. The union of a post-apocalyptic and destroyed environment, slow music and dangerous zombies, prepare the way for a friendship that arises from melancholy and survival.

Technical advances

Being a video game closer to a movie, Naughty Dog has invested a lot of effort in capturing the expressions of the actors towards the characters. To do this, they have engraved their faces with fiducial markers (those small dots spread across the face) that the software recognizes in the image and remaps the character's face. That at speeds up to 200 fps.
