Lenovo ideapad 330 is the first cannon lake processor notebook

Intel Cannon Lake processors manufactured at 10nm have been repeatedly delayed because of the difficulties Intel has encountered with this manufacturing process. Lenovo Ideapad 330 will be the first notebook to include one of these advanced processors.

Lenovo Ideapad 330 will have a version with a Cannon Lake Intel Core i3 8121U processor, for now it is known that this processor will come with the integrated graphics disabled, at least in the case of this laptop, something that seems very strange. The processor will be accompanied by the Radeon RX 540 graphics card .
It is possible that it is in the integrated graphics that Intel has the greatest difficulties with its manufacturing process at 10 nm, something that would make sense of the decision to deactivate them in this case, although it could also be an error, and that finally does come with the iGPU activated.

The Lenovo Ideapad 330 is manufactured with a thickness of 22.7mm and a weight of 2.1kg, with a 1366x768 TN panel of 15.6inches 4-8GB of DDR4 memory and storage configurations ranging from a 500 GB HDD up to a 1TB HDD and a 256 GB SSD. This laptop is an update to the previous Idealap 330 series, based on Intel's Skylake silicon.
Finally, it seems that Intel has its manufacturing process at 10nm mature enough to launch products based on it, although the fact that it debuts with a low-power processor and, supposedly, with integrated graphics disabled, is not something that speaks highly of this manufacturing process. We will have to wait a little longer to have official information and answer questions.
